“ I have seldom seen a 4.9 rating in Google Maps. This restaurant definitely deserves it. I had my best meal in Reno at this Korean restaurant. The dining room was lovely and service was amazing. We ordered several things and everything was delicious. The octopus ceviche was fresh with decent Korean spicy sauce. There were only three free sides. Kimchi was authentic. The sweet pickled radish was my favorite. Their Korean fried chicken was also authentic, crispy, and juicy with decent Korean bbq sauce. Bibimbap and tofu soup tasted phenomenal with a great size. I liked the beef tofu soup better. The broth was perfectly spicy and sweet. I could eat it with many bowls of rice. Rice was free to refill. Conclusion: this restaurant could be the best in Reno. ”

“ We went for lunch yesterday and the place was quite busy — understandable since it was Mother’s Day. Despite the crowd, the service was warm and attentive. Our server was very kind and apologetic about the slight delay in our food, and even brought us complimentary miso soup while we waited, which was a lovely touch. I absolutely loved my hot tofu bibimbap — it was flavorful and comforting. My husband really enjoyed his soup, and the appetizers were delicious as well. Overall, a great experience. “ The addition of Step to the neighborhood has been just what we needed. The food is tasty, filling, and has opened me and my friends up to a new world of cuisine. The staff are unbelievably friendly and kind. Patty has great recommendations for desserts and made practicing Korean fun. (Don't forget to say thank you in Korean for a little treat at the end ). The entire restuarant is charming with white wood paneling and touches of green that create a comfortable and trendy experience. Be sure to try all three flavors of the Korean Fried Chicken, and I can't recommend the braised pork ribs enough! ”

“ Dinner for two. Was craving Korean food and this place is definitely a solid 5 star. The Korean fried chicken is da bomb! Juicy tender and full of flavor, just like my k-drama shows on Netflix . Even better with the watermelon soju. Side dishes were light and fresh. Our main dishes of Korean spicy braised pork ribs was a first for me and cooked perfectly, falling off the bone tender. The food came with a huge bowl of fresh white rice and a couple of bowls of miso soup. Also their seafood hot pot bibimbap was especially delicious with their homemade sauce. So much food we had leftovers for lunch. Will definitely be back as a regular. ”
